Silver Pineapple Stud Earrings

A whole pineapple: yellow diamond-shaped scales caught in a silver lattice, with the spiky crown above them picked out in green.

Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer, coloured yellow across the fruit and green through the leaves.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable for most sensitive ears.

Colour this cheerful earns its keep in the wrong season — it does more for a grey Tuesday in February than it ever will in August. Small enough and solid enough for a child's ear as well as an adult's — one of the very few earrings that works as a present in either direction.
