The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable against sensitive skin.
Shell pearl is made from shell and behaves like it: heavier in the hand than the photograph suggests, cool for the first minute on the skin, with a deep shine rather than a glassy one.
