Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer, both squares set with cubic zirconia. The pair weighs 2.1 grams and fastens with a butterfly clasp — so it hangs from a post rather than a hook.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable for most sensitive ears.

At 33 by 17 millimetres these have presence without being heavy, and the butterfly fitting keeps them steadier than a hook would. They arrive in a free jewellery box with a polishing cloth.
