A one carat lab-created emerald ringed with cubic zirconia, on a 45 centimetre chain.

Set in 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer. The pendant measures 15 by 10 millimetres, the whole necklace weighs 3.02 grams, and it closes with a lobster claw.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable against the skin.

A lab-created emerald is chemically the same stone as a mined one — same hardness, same colour chemistry — at a fraction of the cost, which is what puts a full carat on a €93.99 necklace rather than a four-figure one.
