A 10 millimetre silver circle with a black enamel band set into the face.

Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer. Each pair weighs 1.4 grams and fastens with a butterfly clasp.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable for most sensitive ears.

Enamel is glass fused to the metal, so the black is flat and matt against the polished silver rather than reflective — the contrast is what stops a plain round stud looking like a blank disc. The same design exists gold plated if you prefer a warmer frame. They arrive in a free jewellery box with a polishing cloth.
