A disc of mother of pearl set into a fine chain — 16.5 centimetres, with a 3 centimetre extender.

Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer. The bracelet weighs 2.3 grams and closes with a lobster claw.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable against the skin.

Mother of pearl is the lining of the shell, which is why the colour shifts as your wrist turns instead of sitting still. It is softer than a stone, so this is one to take off before washing up rather than one to forget about. Matching mother of pearl studs are in the earrings. It arrives in a free jewellery box with a polishing cloth.
