A four-leaf clover in green malachite, 10 millimetres, set in silver.

Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer. Each pair weighs 1.5 grams and fastens with a butterfly clasp.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable for most sensitive ears.

Malachite is banded rather than uniform — every stone has its own pattern of light and dark green, so no two pairs are identical. It is a soft stone and it does not like water or acid, so take them off before washing up. They arrive in a free jewellery box with a polishing cloth.
