A clover cut from one flat piece of white shell, held in a plain polished rim and hung loose from the chain so it turns as you move.

Made from 925 sterling silver with a rhodium layer, set with white mother of pearl.

The rhodium layer stops the silver tarnishing and keeps the shine longer. The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable against sensitive skin.

Turn it under a lamp and the white moves through the faintest pink and green — shell does that, and no photograph has ever quite caught it. Give it to somebody whose jewellery is all fine chains and small studs and who has never asked for a stone: this is shell and a rim, with nothing on it trying to sparkle.
