A 16 millimetre twisted hoop that closes on a hinge rather than a post.

Made from 925 sterling silver, plated with 14 karat gold. The pair weighs 2.8 grams and closes with a hinged back.

The silver is nickel-free, lead-free and cadmium-free to European standards — hypoallergenic, and comfortable for most sensitive ears.

A hinged hoop has no butterfly to lose and nothing sticking out behind the ear, which is why it is the one to sleep in if you sleep in hoops at all. Sixteen millimetres sits close to the lobe rather than swinging. They arrive in a free jewellery box with a polishing cloth.
